Engineered to fight moisture, Zephyr can also be used as a primer, or even an encapsulator, eliminating the need to remove existing or cutback adhesive residue. This one-part, roller-applied coating requires no stirring or mixing and is uniquely adaptable to varying moisture levels.

Approved Substrates and Surfaces:

  • APA underlayment grade plywood and OSB
  • Association grade particleboard
  • Cement backer board
  • Cementitious and anhydrite screeds
  • Concrete and radiant heated subfloors that do not exceed 85°F (30°C)
  • Gypsum and lightweight concrete
  • Well-bonded residue from cutback adhesives
  • Well-bonded residue from multipurpose, latex, and pressure sensitive adhesives

Substrate Testing:

One coat: RH – 93% [ASTM F2170]

pH – No Testing Required: 5 – 14

MVER – 10 lbs [ASTM F1869]

Porosity – CSP 1+, must pass [ASTM F3191] 

Two coats: RH – 95% [ASTM F2170]

pH – No Testing Required: 5 – 14

MVER – 15 lbs [ASTM F1869]
