Resort Fashion from Chico’s

We are leaving on Friday for a Caribbean cruise on Celebrity cruise lines. We’ve never cruised on this line before and I’m super excited to experience this ship line. We signed up with 8 other couples from our church and I think it’s going to be so fun. I have worked with Chico’s many times over the years and I reached out and asked if I could try some new clothing items from their resort collection to take on my cruise and they were generous to send me a few things. I love their resort wear line and they have some beautiful things this season. I’ll show you what I got before I get packed up!

This Sanibel Island print T is so cute and there are several items out of this print. Everything is already on sale, so grab them if you’re interested. I always get size 0 (Small) in tops and usually .5 (size 6) in pants. These pull on jeans are so comfy with a little wide leg, but not too wide.  Sandals are the Gatlin from Easy Spirit.

These white pants are older Chico’s from a couple years ago, but I love how this T goes nicely with jeans or white pants.

This colorful eyelet tunic also goes great with white pants. These navy suede pumps are from Talbot’s, but last year.

I love eyelet fabric and this print is so pretty and soft for spring and these are just my colors. This lapis long necklace from Chico’s is also a gorgeous piece. They have some great jewelry!

Love this green ruched top, soft jersey material and it will pack nicely. The sleeves are pretty too with a slight bell shape. The necklace goes with a lot of things.

This long navy print dress is so pretty for spring and I’ll enjoy wearing it on the cruise.

I have some new makeup to share with you too. Maybe I’m the last person to try it, but I finally bought the Laura Geller baked foundation in a kit they had at Christmas. I really do love how easy it goes on. My kit came with their nice brush and it goes on so well. I’m not a heavy makeup gal at all. I don’t enjoy the thicker makeup and heavier makeup look anymore and I think when we get older that a lighter hand is better. This foundation is a cake, but it doesn’t go on too dry for me. I use a primer under it and then just brush it on. It gives a matte finish and just buffs out some imperfections. There’s no way to hide all the lines and wrinkles I have, but this helps. The brush is below inside the black tube and came with my kit.

This is my kit and what came in it. I paid $45 for it, including shipping, so it was a really good deal. I got a sample of their Spackle primer too and liked it a lot, so will order it next time.

It has highlighter, concealers, blush, bronzer, and several eye shadows, plus a mirror that all folds up. This will be great for travel, so I’ll be taking this kit with me. I got the color Light and this kit really works well for my coloring. Here’s a kit from Laura Geller that’s out now, but it’s not quite as good as mine. I think if you watch their site, they change up things often. I wanted to share as I’m really loving this kit. It must have been a holiday special.
