Brazil’s natural stone industry is poised for significant international expansion as Marmomac Brazil 2025 prepares to host 264 business meetings between local suppliers and global buyers in São Paulo February 18-20.
The trade initiative, organized by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) and ApexBrasil, will bring together 22 Brazilian companies with 14 international buyers from eight countries, including the United States, Canada, and India. Each company will participate in focused 30-minute meetings aimed at establishing new trade partnerships.
The timing is strategic, following Brazil’s strong performance in natural stone exports last year. The sector recorded $1.26 billion in exports in 2024, representing a 12.7% increase from the previous year. The state of Espírito Santo, home to all participating Brazilian companies, dominated the market with 82.3% of national stone exports.
“This debut in São Paulo represents a crucial step in our international strategy,” said Tales Machado, president of Centrorochas. “We’re creating opportunities for Brazilian companies to connect with target markets while establishing Brazil as an industry leader in quality, material diversity, and innovation.”
The event, scheduled for February 19, features prominent Brazilian stone companies including Amagran, Atlas Mármores, and Bramagran. Buyers from emerging markets like Taiwan, Poland, and Romania will join traditional trading partners in exploring new business opportunities.
The initiative is part of the broader “It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone” program, which currently supports 223 companies in their export efforts. The program aims to strengthen Brazil’s position in the global natural stone market through strategic internationalization and promotion activities.
