Confindustria Ceramica and the Italian Trade Agency have announced a two-week extension for their prestigious Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, now accepting submissions through February 28. The competition celebrates excellence in Italian ceramic and porcelain tile applications across North American projects completed between January 2020 and September 2024.
The competition features four built categories—Residential, Non-Residential, Urban Design, and Design & New Application— along with a dedicated Student category. Projects must demonstrate innovative use of Italian ceramic tile from Ceramics of Italy member brands.
Winners will receive an impressive prize package including a CEU-accredited trip to Cersaie 2025 in Bologna, Italy, and an all-expenses-paid journey to Coverings 2025 in Orlando, Florida. Built-project winners can earn cash prizes up to $5,000 and will have the opportunity to present their work to architecture and design media at Coverings 2025.
The competition is free to enter and accepts multiple submissions per participant. Interested parties can submit their projects at tilecompetition.com.
