Happy Friday! My family are all coming back to town today, so I’m looking forward to seeing them for a few days for Christmas. They are coming home earlier this year and going home to spend Christmas at their houses, but we are glad they are coming so we can celebrate together. We are getting together with mom and dad tomorrow for lunch so that will be nice. Hope you all enjoy your weekends too!
Mark and I completed a fun project at our house that I’ll be sharing on Sunday, so stay tuned for that!
Instagram Inspiration
There’s always a lot of Christmas inspiration out there and this new Georgia friend, Home and Hallow is just beautiful. Love her feed and decor! And she has a beautiful blog too.
On her blog, Home and Hallow, she shares how she DIY framed those pretty intaglios from thriftstore frames and created these beautiful bookcase displays. Gorgeous room! Her home is so appealing to me. Go and give her a follow.
Recipes
This one pot tortellini vegetable soup from Hungry Happens looks delicious! I’m definitely going to try this one.
This baked brie appetizer from Design Twins Jodie looks delicious too and perfect for a party. I just might make this before Christmas is over. She’s got the how to video on that link with all the ingredients.
Around the House
Christmas is getting closer and closer and you’ve probably finished most of your shopping, but I have some fun items in my Amazon shop to check out. They really have expanded the home decor lines over there and you can find so many beautiful home decor items. Many of these are on sale right now too. I would be thrilled with anything on this page (affiliate links below):
You can find all the categories in my Amazon shop here.
What We’re Watching
We’re watching all the Christmas movies this month, the faves that I’m sure you love too. That’s been fun. I did watch a cute movie awhile back, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. It’s set in the 50’s and is about a house keeper lady who goes to Paris to buy a couture dress from Dior. I really enjoyed it, but Mark didn’t watch it. Definitely a girlie movie. Looks like it’s only streaming on Peacock now.
