It has always been a dream of mine to make pretty gingerbread houses. I wanted to create those gorgeous two story master pieces I see all over the internet sitting on kitchen tables ready to look at or even eat at a party. BUT my time hasn’t come yet. I try to make pretty gingerbread houses, but they always turn out a little drippy, not secure, & with elementary designs. It’s not pretty. So, this year I as so excited to find some gingerbread houses that were beautifully pre-made & that would keep for years & years to come. I shared it in my cozy cottage gingerbread Christmas decor [HERE] along with other gingerbread Christmas decor. I put one of the houses on our dining table to have a little mini gingerbread house moment I have always dreamed of…
I found this one at one of my favorite small shops, Pink Antler. They always have the best Christmas decor pieces each year & they are also the ones that I buy my Papa Noel collection from of the fun santa mugs, plates, & more. As soon as I saw this house I knew I had to have it & that it would be in my collection for a long time. I don’t know what I am going to do yet with all of my gingerbread finds, but I have a feeling they will end up somewhere in the kitchen, but I had to do a quick photoshoot with this one to share it with you. If this house isn’t your favorite & you would rather make your own, I shared [HERE] a tutorial on my Instagram on how you can make your own for less than $14.
I love the cottage core vibes of the gingerbread houses, but they can truly fit in any Christmas decor theme & could be styled so many different ways. I used linens from Target [old, but more linked HERE] & Heather Taylor Home that I love so much & of course mixed in a bunch of my antique kitchen finds to create a cozy Christmas moment. With a little more practice I think I can make a pretty gingerbread house, but until then, I am glad I have this one to cozy up our home. I hope you found this look inspiring in some way. Be sure to pin it for later & share it with someone who you think would love it too. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to. xx
