I love breathing new life into antiques. There are so many amazing pieces that whole many stories, and to bring them into our cozy home to create new memories with them is really special. I love being a part of this community where so many of you feel the same way. To scroll through social media and feel inspired by the antiques that I see is one of my favorite things. That is why today I wanted to share 5 exquisite antique images that I have been inspired by.

If this is your first time checking out a scroll stopper’s blog post of mine, you may be wondering what a scroll stopper is. Each week, I share a set of images that I have been inspired by and have stopped me mid-scroll in hopes that they also inspire you in some way. If you would like to see past week’s scroll stoppers, click here [HERE]. For now, let’s check out some exquisite antique scroll stoppers

1.

This photo stopped me in my tracks when I saw @muted_and_moody share it. I am in love with the beautiful blue-painted tones and the wall treatments that blend is so effortlessly. Also, the beautiful antiques that so gracefully blend in make my eye so happy.

2.

I am so impressed by this exquisite antique dresser shared by @the_parsons_nose_antiques. It’s a stunning painted English Georgian high dresser with chunky wooden knobs c1790. If you’re looking for other stunning pieces like this I would highly suggest checking out The Parson Nose page.

3.

This cozy kitchen corner shared by @englisheccentrichome is full of so many amazing antiques. I love the aged ceiling and the texture that it gives the room. All of those vases remind me of our kitchen and the collections that we display.

4.

@ninahartmannantiques shares the most exquisite antiques on her page. I was taken aback by this cozy corner and the beautiful antiques that it displays. The colors are so stunning and something that I am striving for lately in our home.

I think the most important thing to remember when having antiques in your home is that the imperfections tell their stories and show the life they have lived. I was reminded of that when I saw this photo shares by @swedish.interior.style. This antique bench has the most beautiful aging and I love that they decided to keep it to show it’s aging rather than refinish it.

What is an exquisite antique that you’ve had your eye on lately? I would love to hear on Facebook or Instagram. I hope these scroll-stopping images inspired you in some way. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
